The medieval half-timbered town of Stolberg looks back on a history of more than one thousand years. Romantically embedded in the beautiful nature of the southern Harz mountain region, Stolberg is a climatic spa, a European historic town and also the town of Thomas Müntzer.
Let mundoido take you on a 60 minutes guided tour through history, to the stormy period of the rough Middle Ages, from the origins of the aristocratic family of the earls and kings of Stolberg through the turbulent times of the Reformation and the Peasants’ War to modern times! Many inhabitants of Stolberg have been interviewed for this guided tour and they give an authentic view on the daily life in this historical, half-timbered town!
