App Description
This app is an optical fiber loss budget calculator. It takes all loss factors including installation type, mode of fiber, connector and splice types into account. It provides the most accurate loss budget estimate.
Optical loss budget is calculated between optical transmitters and receivers. Loss budget is dependent on connector and splice losses and cable attenuation.
This tool does not require any keyboard entries. All entries can be selected using picker views, sliders and segment selectors. It is a perfect app for use in the field.
This tool can be used by engineering students, professional engineers and technicians in the field.
This app is developed and tested with all sizes and versions of all iOS devices including iPhone and iPad.
