Honqo is the best tool to pick up the kids from school. It sends you an alert to remind you when it's time to depart and, once you're on your way, it informs schools of your progress so every student you're scheduled to pick up is ready and waiting the moment you arrive.
Please note that Honqo makes use of background location on your phone to preserve your place in line.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
