The Gold Bug Park and Mine app will allow you to listen to the Gold Bug Mine audio tours, get directions to the Placerville mine, watch YouTube videos, connect to the Gold Bug Mine facebook page, view the current weather forecast at the park, and visit the Gold Bug Mine website for even more information about the historic mine in Placerville.
During your self-guided audio tour of the Gold Bug you'll hear a California Gold Rush miner tell about the tools he used to get at that elusive yellow metal - GOLD! As you enter the 352 foot drift of this hard rock mine, you will feel the cool air brush against your face. Bring a picnic lunch. Take a relaxing hike. Check out the gold rush museum. Gold Bug Park promises to be a wonderful experience for you and your family. The Hattie Gift Shop has many treasures to remind you of your visit.
