The National Down Syndrome Congress Convention is the largest gathering in the world of its kind, with more than 3500 people who are personally or professionally connected to Down syndrome, coming together to teach, learn and share. This year marks the 44th Annual Convention, and takes place in Orlando, Florida July 21 to 24, 2016.

The event includes in-depth pre-conferences, plenary sessions, more than 70 workshops, sharing sessions, a film festival and exhibitors, as well as specialized learning tracks for adult siblings and for families who experience a co-occurring diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder.

The NDSC is the leading national resource of support and information for anyone touched by or seeking to learn about Down syndrome, from the time of diagnosis through adulthood. NDSC is a member-sustained non-profit organization, composed of parents, self-advocates, siblings, grandparents, educators, physicians, therapists, other professionals, friends and supporters.

The purpose of the NDSC is to promote the interests of people with Down syndrome and their families through advocacy, public awareness and information.

NDSC's Annual Convention is the longest running and best known program of the National Down Syndrome Congress.
