GreenMyScreen is an iOS app that allows you to replicate the look of commercial stock photographs by filling the viewing area of your iOS devices with a solid green field. Using a “green screen” is also known as “chromakeying,” a technology which allows an editor to insert any content of her choice in the green area during postproduction. Now, you too can easily create “pre-keyed” images for use by hobbyists, advertisers, and designers.
How does it work? Once you’ve found a model, you’ll activate GreenMyScreen green screen mode on any iOS device. The photographer snaps a picture of the model with the “pre-keyed” green screen activated on the device. Once you’ve found the shot you love, you are now free to edit the content of your choice into the green field using almost any photo-editing software.
