App Description

Pixl8 is a powerful video filtering app for rendering Pixel art style movies from videos stored on your iPhone, iPad, or a Dropbox account.

You can adjust color levels/quantization, saturation, contrast, detail (blur), posterize, brightness (gamma), and pixel size, and observe their effects on-the-fly and up close using the zoom tool before rendering the final movie back to the camera roll, iTunes, or Dropbox.

Additional functions allow you to snapshot the current video frame, save a 3 second clip, create a movie storyboard that shows a series of video frames and their time-codes as a single image, and even export a .GIF animation.

Choose from a number of in-built presets or make your own adjustments to the filter controls and save these as user-defined presets for loading back again.

Pixl8 is an easy to use yet powerful and flexible tool for Pixel artists and videographers looking to extend their library of video filter effects.
