The official application for The Chatillonnais Museum – The Vix Treasure
The Chatillonnais Museum was created by the Communauté de Communes of the Chatillonnais region. It is a must-see along the « Celtic route ». It's major center piece, the famous bronze Vix vase (from the 6th century B.C.) is an ancient relic that remains unrivaled to this day. The numerous archeological treasures dug up in the Chatillonnais region are revealed one room at a time in a journey throughout history from antiquity all the way up to the 19th century.
This application invites you to discover the museum thanks to some thirty audio commentaries. It also offers you some practical information and information concerning the museum's calendar and events.
