App Description

The Damage Assessment (MA) app is for utilities that need to understand the location and extent of damage to their network, in order to coordinate repairs effectively and accurately predict time of service restoration. The app supports the field crews in patrolling the network, capturing damage data by selecting equipment from a map view and quickly adding details which are communicated back to headquarters. With its simple, modern user interface and ability to function whether connected or disconnected from a cellular network, this app is designed to be used by utility employees, contractors and employees of neighbouring utilities under Mutual Assistance arrangements. Damage Assessment belongs to GE’s Mobile Enterprise Suite, consisting of apps aimed at supporting efficiency and productivity improvements for any kind of business.
