FOCUS is the annual National Meeting of the Association for Clinical Biochemistry and Laboratory Medicine (ACB). This 3 day meeting includes a comprehensive scientific programme encompassing many aspects of laboratory medicine, a training day, AGM and a full social programme. The ACB was founded in 1953 and is one of the oldest such Associations in the world; based in the United Kingdom, it is a professional body dedicated to the practice and promotion of clinical science. The ACB is the major professional and scientific body for Clinical Biochemistry, Immunology and Microbiology in the UK.
