Timeline NELSON is a multimedia history of the life of Lord Nelson and the British Navy during the 18th and early 19th century, presented by historian and TV presenter Dan Snow, in association with The National Maritime Museum (London, UK).

**Film & Audio: 50 short videos and audio clips giving fascinating insight into Nelson’s life and the role of the British Navy within Britain over the period. Many of these are interviews with historians and curators from the National Maritime Museum.**

**over 150 Images – from stunning paintings and items from the Museum’s collection, to cartoons and battle plans.**

**Search and filter the app to explore the events and themes that interest you, including: "Nelson's Story"; "Trafalgar"; “A Sailor’s Life”; and many more.**

**The interactive map allows you to search and locate information on battles featured in the app**

The app is based on the ‘Nelson, Navy, Nation’ gallery at the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich, London. The additional video interviews and clips, audio commentaries and images make the app an ideal partner to any visit to the gallery. Video and audio content require an internet connection to view.
