As the only zoo in the state and home to a wide variety of North and South American wildlife, the zoo is divided into five sections – South American Rainforest, Predators, Alligator Alley, Hoofstock (wolves, prairie dogs, owls, bison and more) and New England Farmyard. Reptiles and bugs, additional exhibits, as well as a carousel and greenhouse make the non-profit Beardsley Zoo a great place to take the kids (and kids at heart!)
