Mines of Mars is a procedural atmospheric mining game that is inspired by games like Metroid and Motherload.
It is also a story based adventure game with dark secrets, great weapons, tons of different items, and a gorgeous world to explore.
The world of MoM is procedurally created, so that every time you play it, it will be a little different.
There are tons of different enemies, dark corridors, and a large variety of fauna and ambient creatures.

Loved this game!
I had a long 12 hour flight from US to Japan and needed some entertainment. This game made the flight seems so fast. I played almost 10 hours straight just wondering around the mines and finding new things. One questions tho and warning **spoilers ahead**! I don’t want to ruin the end of the story so I will try not to but after beating the final creature near the bottom, my game crashes! 😩 or it does something like crashing. Don’t get me wrong I loved this game and will continue playing but the story is so good that I need to know what is suppose to happen when the statue opens its mouth?
Kind of eh, but there’s potential.
The game just really feels kind of average. I went ahead and bought the No Ads(three dollars is kind of insane), and I’ve been playing for about two hours or so. The sound bugged out after the only ad I’ve seen, so I’m playing a silent game of Diggy Diggy Hole with Thing Thing level combat(except a bit worse because of the way guns work here), and it’s really just looking like a time-killer game. Especially because I have to return to the surface every two minutes to offload all the gems I’ve found in my search for the apparently rare spawns of metal.
It’s better than Minecraft Mobile so there is that. I feel like the game has a fair bit of potential, too, but the build up is slow and I can see why people wouldn’t like it.
External sounds please

I like your game Mines of Mars. I started with the free version and paid to remove the ads. So now I have the full version. I’m playing on an iPhone Xr IOS 14.2.
The thing is when I turn off the music and the SFX the game still shuts off external sounds. Why offer an off setting for music and sounds but not let me listen to whatever I want to listen to? If I wanted no game music and no game sfx I could just turn off my phone’s main volume. If you give the player the option to turn off game noise it’s specifically so they can pkay their own non-game noise... isn’t it?
Anyway, i request please to be able to listen to other stuff whilst playing Mines of Mars.
