App Description
ERapp is a mobile application developed by clinicians and aims to facilitate patient recovery after gastrointestinal surgery. It includes information that describes the patient journey from preparation before admission to hospital, up to the days after discharge.
ERapp details the milestones that need to be achieved within the context of Enhanced Recovery during hospital stay. It provides a digital framework that guides patients towards their daily goals and helps them assess their overall progress against the discharge criteria.
ERapp contains functions that allow effective interaction between patients and the clinical team. It offers links to electronic feedback forms, contact numbers and emails, web-based information, maps and navigation.
Apart from being useful, ERapp is also fun, by offering newsfeed, social networking and patient networking functions.
ERapp is a novel app that brings the endless advantages of modern information technology to peri-operative care.
