Mystery of the Ancients: Deadly Cold HD - A Hidden Object Adventure (Full‪)‬ 9+

My husband and I have a ritual. Every morning while we drink our coffee we play a hidden object game. This is our quality time before the day begins. So, needless to say we go through quite a bit of games, and spend quite a bit of money on them. At first I wasn't too keen on the idea of buying before trying, but since it was only $3.99 I figured what the heck. We enjoyed this game. I especially liked the variety of puzzles and hidden object scenes. They were not your typical word/find. Some were matching pairs, putting one object to get to the next, etc. overall this was one of the best games we have played in a while. Also, it was longer than most. Someone mentioned the map being hard to click on and I have to agree. Several times after clicking 3 or 4 times we just traveled the old fashioned way. LOL! But it was not that big of a deal. I think anyone would like this game. Enjoy😃

This was a terrific game but alas I can't give it a full 5 stars! First the good. The game was lengthy with a decently long bonus adventure. Lots of locations to unlock, and loading was instantaneous between them. There was of course a strategy guide, a non-spoiler hint system and regularly updated objectives. The graphics were beautiful but wintry; I actually felt cold while playing, lol! The cut-scenes were mesmerizing. There was a teleport map with active tasks labeled (if you chose it). Inventory was labeled, and there were plus objects! Some collectibles; don't care. The HO scenes were varied: word lists, using one object to unlock another, silhouettes, pairing. There were many interesting puzzles and games, and they were of varying difficulty, so something for everyone. Lots to do in each location. Also (like games by Mad Head and EIPIX) there were books to manipulate and unlock to learn more of the story. It definitely kept my interest!
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the map was a bit finicky, and I had to keep tapping on it, some of the games were a bit non-responsive, and item placement was occasionally off. Just small glitches, but easily able to finish the game. Dream Team, please play as you will love it. Sunshine Susie, fabulous review!

Deadly Cold takes you into a world where the Ice King and his Ice Monsters are intent on freezing Earth. Luckily for you, your best friend (who looks like the red-haired girl in Scooby Doo!) is married to the Ice Prince. However, Daddy is mad, and locks away the Prince. You must figure out how to free him and save Earth. Sounds good, right? Along the way, you are using a torch or blow torch to thaw things. The Hidden Objects are a bit different. I just played one where you looked for silhouettes, but had to find TWO of each shape. Different! Nice Hint and Skip buttons, and interesting puzzles. Find a diamond ring, cut a glass window. I am having fun, and you should snap up this game before it melts away!
