The 1819 app offers an easy way to find companies and people in Iceland.

Everything you need to find from 1819's phone records is in this app. You can also get directions to addresses you are looking for. From within the app you can call a contact directly, send an e-mail, see social media information, location and opening hours of companies. "Offers" is a new addition to the 1819 app, where you can find exciting offers. The 1819 app is powered by a powerful search engine and data from 1819's records.

The app uses calldirectoryhandler to fill phone numbers into a datastore, if the number is flagged blocked by the owner of the number then the number is added to the blocked list and not added to the datastore. If the number is not marked blocked it is added to the datastore and if that number calls you, you get information about that number on your screen
