App Description

Cryptocraker is a fun tool/toy developed as an off shoot of work done over the last 20 years by Bob Taylor.

Don’t ask how or why, but Bob has discovered a way to decode almost any cryptogram. He has studied thousands of puzzles and created a special method to crack these puzzles.

Working with any simple substitution cypher, insert the code for a word or name into the app just as it is in the puzzle.

Anything with less than ten possibilities will return some suggestions.

Try the larger words first.

When you get a match, select the word to save the letters. This will improve all future search results.

Results will be listed in order of likelihood.

Once it hones in on the puzzle you'll be surprised how accurate it is.

We don’t have every word in the English language in the program and it won’t solve every puzzle. That’s not the point. We just wanted to give a little help.

Sometimes we give a little too much help.

We are warning you. If your a little neurotic like we are, this app is a little addictive.

A little hint: If it’s a crypto-quote, start with the code for the name.
