Spellbinderslooks a heck of a lot like Clash Royale, but has an entirely different pace to it. As such, it can be difficult to adjust to.
Just in case you've been playing way too much Clash Royale (and who hasn't), we've put together a bunch of tips and tricks to help get you up to speed with Spellbinders.
Contest the cannons
The key to winning a match inSpellbindersis to take control of the cannons in the centre of the arena as quickly as possible.
To do so, make sure you regularly send units down lanes to contest your opponent's control of the cannons instead of trying to sneak a unit down an unguarded lane.
If you don't try to retake cannons your enemy has already captured, you'll just take a bunch of free hits to your hit point bar.
How decks work
Unlike Clash Royale, there is no deck customisation in Spellbinders. Instead, each player has access to all of a particular character's cards. Another important difference is that your hand always has an equal composition of two unit cards and two spell cards.
With these two key points in mind, you want to make sure you throw down cards that cycle through both units and spells so that you can line up compositions that compliment each other. You have to play a balance of cards to get your ideal hand.
- Try using the Claim spell right after a single enemy unit captures a cannon. You'll take it right back.
- Special purchased units cannot be the target of spells, so don't waste mana on them.
- Sandstorms can slow down units for archers to pick off.
- Save Boulder spells for when players spawn a bunch of units in one lane.
- The Freeze spell can be useful for a weak unit to take out a huge one, or to delay a cannon capture long enough to charge a powerful, three-cannon attack.

Running a bakery can be an expensive venture. You’ll need to continuously upgrade your oven, your kitchen supplies, and even your ingredients to keep customers happy.
Most of these renovations in Bakery Blitz cost a pretty penny, but we have a few tricks up our sleeves to help you rake in the virtual wealth.
Build up chains for maximum profit
Customers pay you with sparkly, enticing gold coins that they leave on the counter. Don’t let this tempt you, though. Let the gold pile up and then collect it all in one fell swoop (make sure you get to it before the game automatically gathers it for you).
Collecting your money this way creates chains, giving you a gold bonus that will quickly fill up your bank.
Each area in Bakery Blitz has a running list of optional goals for you to complete. These can be anything from selling a certain amount of lemonade, to completing a few levels without burning any of your food.
They’re easy to attain (especially if you follow our Bakery Blitz time management guide) and will reward you handsomely with gold and tickets. You can check the goals available to you by tapping the clipboard icon in the lower right corner of your screen.
Keep your customers happy
It probably goes without saying that the happier the customer, the healthier the tip. This is easier said than done, though, so make sure that, above all else, orders are completed correctly.
Look ahead to see what needs done next, and don’t take on too many orders at the same time. It’s best to keep things simple rather than overwhelming yourself. This is an easy way to keep your kitchen orderly, which makes for fewer angry customers.
The baking industry is a competitive one, and you’ll need lots of gold to stay ahead. If you want to become the true cake boss, be sure to follow these tricks.

It can be tricky, especially when you risk burning your kitchen to the ground if you forget a cake in the oven, so make sure to use these time management tricks to keep your bakery running smoothly.
Don’t collect the money right away
In exchange for your tasty, tasty baked goods, customers will leave you with a nice sum of cash. Resist the urge to pocket it right away, though, as it’s best to focus on any active orders and make sure they get delivered to your hungry neighbors before gathering your earnings.
If you fail to claim the money on time, it’ll automatically be added to your coffers. As an added bonus, new customers can’t come into the restaurant if there’s money left unclaimed.
Make good use of the cake plate
Early on you’ll get access to a handy cake plate. You can use this to display extra cakes, possibly enticing customers to buy it. This will save you from having to bake an entire cake again from scratch.
You can also use the cake plate to juggle different cakes and drinks while you’re preparing them. You only have two hands, so if you’re handling two cakes and suddenly need to serve someone a drink, place one of the cakes on the plate for some temporary relief.
Memorize the orders
Certain characters consistently order the same things. For example, the elderly gentleman usually orders a two-layer square chocolate cake.
Taking note of different characters’ favorite sweets will give you a few extra seconds to prepare, which can make all of the difference when you have four different people pushing for your service.
Things can get a little crazy when starting up your own fledgling bakery, but these tips will ensure that you restore sweetness to the world with ease.
